Collection and Transmission of Data
With this letter, Stadtteil-Schule Dortmund e. V. hereby informs you that we electronically collect and process your personal data within our documentation systems.

We transmit your personal data to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) for the following purposes:
– Admission to participate in an integration course and to repeat 300 teaching units of the language course;
– Exemption from the integration course fee;
– Granting of a subsidy toward travel expenses;
– Registration for the integration course;
– Reimbursement of 50% of the integration course fee;
– Transmission of test and examination results from placement tests and the DTZ (German Test for Immigrants);
– Registration for the LID (Living in Germany) test;
– Billing for an integration course module, a DTZ examination, an LID examination, or a placement test.

If you are under an obligation to participate in the integration course, we will inform the authority or authorities that issued said obligation if you fail to participate in the integration course in the prescribed manner (see the BAMF Data Protection Information Sheet).

We transmit your personal data to g.a.s.t. e.V. / TELC GmbH for the purpose of registering for and administering the DTZ (German Test for Immigrants), and we forward your examination materials to g.a.s.t. e.V. / TELC GmbH for evaluation.
Furthermore, we collect your telephone number to facilitate quicker contact, and—in the event that travel expenses are approved—we collect your bank details for the purpose of transferring the travel expenses disbursed by the BAMF to you.

 

All such personal data is stored on the server of Stadtteil-Schule DO e. V. and may be accessed only by authorized personnel. Our staff members are bound by professional confidentiality obligations. We hereby affirm that the electronic data processing (EDP) we conduct is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and is necessary for the establishment of the contractual relationship. Any further data collection extending beyond this scope requires your renewed consent.

Your surname, first name, and date of birth will be deleted no later than ten years—and your remaining personal data no later than five years—following the final billing upon the completion of the integration course.

**User Rights**
You have the right to revoke this consent at any time without providing a reason. Furthermore, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data.

**Consequences of Non-Signature**
You have the right to withhold your consent to this declaration; however, as the provision of our services is contingent upon the collection and processing of the aforementioned data—as well as the specified transmission of such data to third parties—failure to sign this declaration would preclude your access to these services.
